There are moments in the life of a ministry that feel like turning a page—significant, sacred, and full of both reflection and anticipation.
This is one of those moments.
If you haven’t yet read Mark’s recent announcement, I encourage you to take a moment to do so by clicking here. After nearly 20 years of faithful leadership as Director of the Renewing Life Center, Mark will be stepping down from his role on June 1, 2026 and moving into a new season that includes a sabbatical and continued part-time counseling at the Renewing Life Center.
As I read his words, I found myself reflecting with deep gratitude—for Mark, for our leadership team, and for the incredible story God has been writing through the Renewing Life Center over the past two decades.
Mark, thank you.
Your faithfulness, vision, and steady leadership have shaped this ministry in ways that will impact lives for generations. You didn’t just lead a counseling center—you helped build a place where broken stories meet the grace of God and begin to be restored. Because of your obedience to God’s call, thousands of individuals, couples, and families have experienced healing, hope, and transformation. Marriages have been rebuilt. Anxiety has loosened its grip. People who once felt stuck have found a way forward.
It is an honor to step into the role of Director, and even more of an honor to continue building on the foundation you have so faithfully laid. I step into it with deep gratitude—and a clear sense of calling to steward what God has built here.
I also want to express my sincere appreciation for our leadership team and staff. Every day, I get a front-row seat to the work you do—the way you sit with people in their hardest moments, speak truth with grace, and carry burdens that aren’t your own. The work happening inside these walls is sacred—and it is only possible because of the people who show up, day after day, to care for others so well.
As we look ahead, I am filled with excitement—and expectation—for what’s to come.
We are already seeing God open new doors, including the recent remodel of our Southeast location. This refreshed space is more than just a building—it represents increased capacity, expanded reach, and our continued commitment to creating environments where people can encounter healing and hope. More rooms don’t just mean more appointments—they mean more people finding help when they need it most. It’s a tangible reminder that we are growing, and that God is not finished with this story.
That growth is made possible, in large part, by the generosity of so many of you.
To everyone who has given to the Make a Way Fund—thank you. Your support is directly impacting lives by helping us expand access to care and continue offering high-quality, Christ-centered counseling to those who need it most.
And as we look to the future, I want to invite others to join us.
There is still more to be done. More people to reach. More stories of healing waiting to be written. The need is not slowing down—and neither can we.
If you’ve been considering giving, now is a meaningful time to step in and be part of what God is doing here. Your generosity truly helps make a way—for individuals and families to experience hope, healing, and restoration. Click here to visit our donation page.
I step into this new role with humility, gratitude, and great expectation. I am confident that the same God who has been faithful in the past will continue to lead us forward – guiding, providing, and working in ways we may not yet even imagine.
Because He is still writing this story.
And we believe the next chapter will reach even more people who are still waiting for hope.
