Transitions and Celebrations

I’m honored to share a very special update with you.

For nearly 20 years, I have had the privilege of serving as Director of the Renewing Life Center. During that time, I’ve had the joy of working alongside an incredible Board, faithful leaders, and a truly extraordinary staff. Together, we have witnessed countless stories of healing, growth, and God’s faithfulness at work in the lives of those we serve.

Over the past couple of years, I have sensed God gently leading me into a new season. With that in mind, I will be stepping down as Director on June 1, 2026.

This summer, I will be taking a sabbatical—a time to rest, reflect, and seek the Lord. After that, I look forward to returning to the Center in a part-time role, continuing to counsel and investing in a few special projects. I’m filled with anticipation for what God has ahead and confident that this next chapter will continue to reveal His goodness.

And now, the part I’ve been especially excited to share…

Introducing Our Next Director: Jennifer Antonucci

 

I have had the privilege of working with Jennifer since 2015, when she first joined the Center as a student intern. From the very beginning, it was clear that God had placed something special in her—a deep compassion for people, strong clinical insight, and natural leadership ability.

Over the years, I’ve watched Jennifer grow into an exceptional leader. In 2020, she stepped into the role of Assistant Director, and in 2023, our Board affirmed her leadership by appointing her as Co-Director. With wisdom and intentionality, we have been preparing for this transition—and now, the Board has asked Jennifer to step fully into the role of Director, effective June 1, 2026.

I cannot think of a better person to lead the Renewing Life Center into its next chapter.

When I reflect on these past two decades, I’m reminded of Ephesians 3:20: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory.”

These years have been filled with more than I could have ever asked or imagined—story after story of God’s faithfulness. And I truly believe the best is still ahead.

I have complete confidence in Jennifer’s leadership and am so grateful to remain part of the story—now with a front-row seat to all that God will continue to do through this ministry.

  1. Jennifer is a remarkably spiritual, compassionate and loving woman. Her leadership, ability to make people smile, and feel comfortable all enhance her roles as director and counselor.
