Mayson Algeyer
Mayson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who works with individuals, couples, and families navigating stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional disconnection. He has a particular passion for supporting men and young men (ages 14+) as well as individuals serving in high-demand professions.
Before becoming a therapist, Mayson spent seven years working in public safety, including three years providing peer support and crisis intervention. This experience gives him a unique understanding of the pressures that come with carrying responsibility, managing stress, and showing up for others while struggling yourself.
Mayson’s approach is grounded in person-centered therapy and incorporates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. He works collaboratively with clients to increase self-awareness, identify meaningful goals, and develop practical tools for lasting change. For clients who desire it, he also welcomes conversations about faith, meaning, and purpose.

Jennifer Antonucci is the Executive Director of the Renewing Life Center and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and has spent her career helping individuals, couples, families, and children find hope, healing, and lasting change.
Jennifer is passionate about walking alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and pursue personal growth. She has extensive experience working with a wide range of concerns and offers EMDR therapy for clients who have experienced trauma.
In addition to her counseling work, Jennifer and her husband, Vince, have planted two churches and have spent many years serving in ministry. Through both counseling and ministry, she has witnessed the transformative power of faith, healthy relationships, and compassionate support.
Jennifer and Vince have been married for over 30 years and have two adult children and one amazing daughter-in-law. She considers it a privilege to help clients discover hope and experience meaningful change in their lives and relationships.

Stacy Carpenter is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with nearly 20 years of experience in education, counseling, and mental health. She earned degrees from Nevada State College and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV).
Stacy provides secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual sessions, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their emotions, challenges, and goals. Her compassionate, client-centered approach helps children (10 years old and above), teens, couples, families, and individuals develop tools and mindsets that support healing and wellness.
Stacy is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is a Brainspotting-trained clinician. She helps clients process trauma, stress, and emotional pain while honoring the pace of their nervous system. She incorporates interactive teletherapy for children and teens to create a supportive space to navigate life’s challenges. For couples, Stacy comes alongside to explore relationship patterns, heal emotional wounds, and build a more secure and meaningful connection with one another.
Personally, Stacy knows that therapy is a courageous and vulnerable process. Through compassion, experience, honesty, and genuine care, she partners with clients as they move toward growth, healing, and lasting positive change. Outside of therapy, Stacy enjoys camping, hiking, reading, country music, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.

Robert Carpenter is a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern who is passionate about helping clients find hope, healing, and resilience. He earned his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
Robert works with adults ages 18 and older and has a particular interest in helping individuals navigate trauma, life stressors, relationship challenges, anxiety, and personal growth. He also enjoys working with men who want to strengthen their relationships, better understand themselves, and live more intentionally.
Robert believes every client’s story is unique and takes a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy. Drawing from evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral, trauma-informed, and person-centered interventions, he tailors treatment to each client's needs and goals. His desire is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
After spending many years in corporate loss prevention, Robert followed a calling to become a counselor. His life experiences and Christian faith have given him a deep appreciation for the challenges people face and the courage it takes to pursue healing and growth.

She is passionate about helping couples, women, and families navigate healing, personal growth, and spiritual well-being. Viewing counseling as both a calling and a ministry, Lawana is dedicated to guiding individuals through trauma recovery and fostering meaningful, healthy relationships.
She incorporates a blend of therapeutic approaches, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Intergenerational Family Therapy, and EMDR, along with real-life experiences, to provide personalized, effective support for her clients.
Beyond her work in counseling, Lawana and her husband, Kevin, serve as Pastors at Broken Chains Outreach Ministry, where they are committed to supporting the homeless and those in need by providing resources, care, and encouragement. Married since 2020, they share a blended family and are deeply devoted to their faith, family, and community.

Judi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Denver, her Master’s degree in School Psychology and School Counseling from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and later completed a Ph.D. in School Counselor Education at UNLV. She also holds an endorsement in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Judi enjoys working with children, families, and couples facing a variety of concerns, including relationship difficulties, emotional challenges, life transitions, and family conflict. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Daphne Lu is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who works with individuals, couples, and families from a holistic perspective, emphasizing the connection between emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual well-being. With a background working as an RBT for children with Autism, she takes a directive, yet creative and individualistic approach to working with clients to navigate challenges while considering each person’s unique needs.
Daphne is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and incorporates evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and experiential interventions to support lasting healing and growth.
She is also trained in the Gottman Method and uses this modality to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection. She is also passionate about serving the Deaf/HoH community and believes everyone deserves access to confidential mental health care, so she demonstrates this with continued practice of American Sign Language (ASL). She is able to sign at a conversational level and is open to seeing whether her fluency is an appropriate level for you.

Tamara has a special passion for serving veterans, first responders, military families, and their loved ones. As a United States Air Force veteran, mother of three, and spouse of both a first responder and military reservist, she understands the unique pressures, sacrifices, and stressors that often accompany these roles. She recognizes that many individuals in helping professions spend so much time caring for others that they struggle to prioritize their own emotional well-being.

Kevin Scott has served in full-time ministry since 1994 and is the founding pastor of The Stream in Las Vegas. Kevin is passionate about helping individuals and couples grow spiritually, strengthen relationships, and navigate difficult seasons with wisdom and faith. His approach is grounded in biblical truth with an emphasis on God’s love and grace as demonstrated in the gospel.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in Dietetics, Nutrition, Fitness, and Health and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Prior to planting The Stream, Kevin served in college campus ministry and participated in missions work in Africa, England, and urban communities.
Kevin and his wife, Lauren, have been married for almost 30 years and have three adult children. In Kevin’s free time he enjoys training and competing in open water swimming.

Valerie Williams-Goss, PhD, brings nearly three decades of experience working with individuals, couples, children, and families facing complex personal and relational challenges. She joined the Renewing Life Center as a consultant with specialized experience in family crisis intervention, domestic violence, reunification, court advocacy for children and families, and supporting biracial children and their families.
Prior to earning her doctoral degree in 2014, Dr. Williams-Goss spent five years working with survivors of domestic violence, developing a deep understanding of the challenges families face during times of crisis and transition. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with families, schools, universities, and community organizations to provide support, guidance, and practical solutions.
Dr. Williams-Goss is known for her ability to build trust and connect with clients facing difficult circumstances. Her approach is compassionate, direct, and focused on helping families strengthen relationships, improve functioning, and move toward healthier outcomes.
With extensive experience navigating complex family systems, Dr. Williams-Goss brings both expertise and advocacy to the clients and families she serves.

Tim Fraiser is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who works with individuals, couples, and families seeking greater emotional health, stronger relationships, and personal growth. He earned a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and a Master’s degree in Ministry and Leadership from Western Seminary.
Tim has served in full-time ministry since 2012 and currently serves as the Executive Pastor at Grace Point Church. Prior to ministry, he served for 10 years in the United States Air Force. These experiences have given him a deep appreciation for the challenges people face in relationships, faith, leadership, and everyday life.
Tim is trained in EMDR and has received advanced certifications in the Enneagram, Judgment Index, and Gottman Relationship Checkup. He uses these tools to help clients increase self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier emotional patterns.
Having faced many of the same struggles that bring people to counseling, Tim brings both professional training and personal understanding to the therapeutic process. He believes growth often begins when people have the courage to honestly examine their stories and embrace the possibility of change.

She has a special interest in supporting couples facing betrayal trauma, infidelity, and relational stress.
Michelle holds a PhD in Biblical Studies and thoughtfully integrates evidence-based counseling practices with a deep understanding of faith when desired by the client. Using psychodynamic therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and sand tray, her approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and personalized to each individual's unique needs and experiences.
In addition to her counseling work, Michelle is an author and speaker who provides training and resources to churches and Christian organizations seeking to better understand mental health and trauma. Samantha Winters is the Clinical Director of Renewing Life Center and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She works with individuals, families, children, and couples, helping clients gain deeper insight into themselves, process difficult experiences, and cultivate healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
Samantha's primary passion is working with individuals and families as they recover from trauma, build secure relationships, and experience lasting emotional growth. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that helps clients process difficult experiences, reduce emotional distress, and move beyond patterns that may be keeping them stuck. She also incorporates parts work into therapy, helping clients understand and care for the different parts of themselves that may carry pain, fear, or shame that lead to protective coping strategies.
Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that meaningful change occurs when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. Samantha works with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions, while also enjoying work with couples and families. Bety Bell is a bilingual student counselor pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Bety is passionate about providing culturally responsive care to diverse populations.
Currently, she is gaining hands-on clinical experience as a practicum student at Renewing Life Center, where she is committed to supporting clients on their mental health journey through empathy, active listening, and evidence-based practices. Her professional goals include becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and continuing to serve her community with integrity, compassion, and cultural sensitivity.

Kacey Chang
Kacey Chang is a second-year master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Through counseling, Kacey seeks to be an encouragement to those around him, being the salt and light in his community.
In 2017, Kacey helped plant Las Vegas Joongang Church, where he continues to serve as a youth and worship leader. He plans to further his studies by attending seminary and pursuing Christian counseling.
When he’s not studying or serving, he enjoys playing and collecting guitars.

Britney O'Connell is a Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling student intern earning her dual master’s degree through Colorado Christian University. She works with clients to navigate life transitions and identity challenges through a warm, person-centered approach.
With a background as a middle school teacher and current experience as a Whole Health and Wellness Coach, Britney brings a grounded, supportive presence to her work. She is especially passionate about helping individuals rediscover their strengths, manage stress, and move toward healing and well-being.

Autumn Goucher is the Billing Coordinator at the Renewing Life Center. You may have seen her a few years ago working at the front desk. After she moved out of state, Autumn began working remotely part time to assist our director of finance. As we have grown, we were able to hire her back on for full time to become the billing coordinator!
Autumn attended Manhattan Christian College in Manhattan, KS (the little apple) where she received a degree in Counseling. In the future, she plans to continue her education and pursue counseling to work with young children. Some of her favorite activities are reading, puzzles, going to the movies, and having fun outdoors with her family. Autumn has been married for 8 years and has a daughter.

Adryenne Johnson is one of our Client Care Coordinators in the front office of the Renewing Life Center. She works at the Southeast location. She is dedicated to making a meaningful impact and ensuring that others feel understood and supported. With a natural talent for connecting with people, she strives to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
She is a proud parent of four children and has been happily married for 20 years. In her free time, she enjoys watching football, especially cheering for the Raiders. Above all, her faith remains the cornerstone of her life.

Carmen Newton is one of our Client Care Coordinators in the front office of the Renewing Life Center. She works at the Northwest location. She earned her bachelor's degree from Nevada State University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Counseling. Carmen later completed her graduate studies at Grand Canyon University, where she received a Master’s in Public Administration.
A native of Los Angeles, California, Carmen is deeply passionate about serving diverse communities and supporting vulnerable populations. She is a proud mother of five and grandmother of six. In her free time, she enjoys worshipping the Most High, spending quiet moments, being with her loved ones, working out, and watching Cold Case Files.

Jerrelyn Martinez serves as a Client Care Coordinator at the Renewing Life Center’s Southeast location, where she helps create a welcoming and supportive experience for every client who walks through the door. She is deeply passionate about people and is known for bringing a positive, encouraging presence to every interaction.
Jerrelyn has a heart for creating meaningful experiences and fostering environments where others feel seen, valued, and cared for. Outside of her role at the Center, she is actively involved in ministry and is especially drawn to spaces where individuals can encounter God in a genuine and transformative way.
In her free time, Jerrelyn enjoys creative expression through movement and dance, as well as spending time outdoors. Whether hiking or camping, she finds joy and renewal in nature.

Michelle Parker is the Director of Finance & Operations at Renewing Life Center, where she has been a dedicated member of the team since 2020. Her expertise in creating effective structures and systems reinforces our mission to care for both clients and staff.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys quality time with her husband, David, and their three grown children, as well as cherishing her role as a grandmother to six energetic grandchildren. In her personal time, she loves cooking, crafting, and soaking up the sunshine to recharge.

Dottie Zelenski is one of our Client Care Coordinators in the front office of the Renewing Life Center. She works at the Southeast location. With a background of working in ministry she has a heart for people and for creating welcoming spaces for people to connect and thrive.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, she is married to her best friend John, and they have two wonderful children. Dottie enjoys spending time with her family, diving into a good book, and planning and hosting dinner parties, games nights, and get-togethers in their home and in the community.

Marshall Winters
Marshall has been given an innate gift from God to serve, connect, and bring smiles to faces; the moment Marshall walks into a room the mood changes. Other than being naturally handsome and adorable, he has been trained to invite clients into a safe space for healing and growth. He continues to practice his skillset of providing affection, comfort, and support to those in need of emotional support. While Marshall works pro bono, he enjoys lots of attention, pets, and treats while he listens intently in session. Marshall works predominantly in session with Samantha Winters but is available upon request to join sessions with other therapists at the Renewing Life Center.
