Our Approach
The Director is a companion, helping the directee to address God and to listen for what God has to communicate. The focus is the relationship itself between God and the person. The directee is helped, not to understand this relationship better, but to participate in it through dialogue with God. Spiritual Direction focuses on what happens when a person listens and responds to God. Spiritual Direction at the Renewing Life Center is coordinated through the Spiritual Formation Institute.
